Achievements

SJJ(NZ) wishes to recognise competitors and officials for their achievements in the following categories:


International Representation:
Athletes selected by SJJ(NZ) to represent New Zealand at World Games or other international level are eligible to wear the SJJ(NZ) International Representative badge following such representation. International representatives prior to the formation of SJJ(NZ) in 1999 may be recognised with adequate supporting evidence. In both cases, applications should be made to: tournaments@sjjnz.org.nz


Sport Ju-Jitsu Black Belt:
The SJJ(NZ) Black Belt is awarded to competitors who achieve 50 wins in competition on the SJJ(NZ) National Circuit.


Top Competitors
At the end of each season, the Top Male and Female Competitors are calculated using ranking points. The Top Club is based on medal counts.


Class I Referees
Referees who have worked through the Referees' Programme to Class I may referee in all areas of competition up to, and including, international level. For information about the Referees' Programme, contact referees@sjjnz.org.nz
